We grade all our hikes 1-3 based on 3 important factors: the level of agility, fitness and (lack of) fear of heights required.

We can adjust the hike based on the level of these factors for the individuals in the group.  However please note that at Ibiza Hike Station, we offer hiking, not walking!
We list the requirements for each hike within the hike description, so that you can choose one which is perfect for your group.  You can click on any of the symbols within the description to see a detailed explanation of each level.

Always choose a hike and level that is suitable for the person in the group with the lowest level of fitness and agility and note that if just 1 person in the group has a fear of heights, you should only choose a hike which has Level 1 “Hike to Get High” (fear of heights).

Our most popular hikes to see the sunset are: Mystical (Es Vedrá), Natural Pools, Lagoon, Pescador

You can also see the sunset on the following hikes: Fjord, Arch, Quelona, Fig Tree

The best hike for sunrise is Deus. You can also see the sunrise from Stone and Nobu.

“Hike Buddies” private hikes can start in the morning until 11:00am and in the afternoon around 3 hours before sunset.  You can agree the exact start time with your guide.

“Hike to Click” group hikes start in the morning at 09:00 or 09:30am (dependent on the month) or in the afternoon around 3 hours before sunset.

The hikes last for 3 hours on average.  For “Hike Buddies” private hikes, if you want a shorter or longer hike, you can agree the duration of the hike with the guide.

“Hike Buddies” private hikes: We guarantee tours in English. When you make your booking you can indicate if you would prefer a different language and we will try to accommodate.  Amongst our guides we speak 11 languages in addition to English: Spanish, Dutch, German, French, Catalan, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, Kurdish, Farsi and Hebrew.

Ibiza Hike Station will provide a small backpack for each person to keep.

You should bring at least 1.5L of water per person, and snacks if you would like.  Note that there are no stores or other facilities along our trails.

Please bring your own: sun hat, sun cream, and swimwear for coastal hikes. Also ensure you bring any necessary medication or inhalers that you might require during the hike.

We can lend hiking poles – please tell your guide in advance if you would like to borrow hiking poles.

Our guides also carry snorkel masks which you can borrow, for hikes which include the opportunity to swim.

Please note that Guide Tips are not included in the price, so you might like to bring some cash! 🙂

Suitable footwear, including socks (we recommend sports shoes as a minimum, but trail running or hiking shoes are better).   Anyone wearing unsuitable footwear (such as flip-flops), or no socks, will not be able to hike.

We can lend you hiking shoes for the duration of the hike, at a cost of €35 per person.  Contact us at experience@ibizahikestation.com or on +34 606 94 63 46 to organize this.

Ideally you should wear comfortable, quick-drying sportswear.  A jacket or hoodie are recommended for sunset hikes, windy days, or rare cold days!  We think black is best!

Hikes are not cancelled due to the weather unless conditions make it dangerous – if relevant, your guide will discuss this with you when they contact you 48 hours before the hike.  Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather (check the forecast!).

Ibiza Hike Station requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a hike. If more than 48 hours´ notice of a cancellation is provided, a full refund will be made. We do not offer a refund or the opportunity to reschedule after this time.

We ask that you are punctual for the start time.  Please leave plenty of time to arrive, as some start points are accessed by slow roads, and the traffic in Ibiza in the height of the summer can cause delays.

For a private “Hike Buddies” hike we will wait up to 30 minutes after the agreed start time. After that, if we have been informed that you will be late, we will continue to wait and will charge €30 for each additional 30 minutes of waiting time, up to a further 60 minutes (90 minutes in total).

For a group “Hike to Click” hike, we will wait 10 minutes and then we will leave with the rest of the group.

You will be the best judge of whether your child can join you on a hike.  The hikes we recommend for children, because they include a swim and can be adjusted so that they are not too challenging, are: Islands, Natural Pools, Lagoon Mystical, Beach, Pescador, Arch, Fjord, Fig Tree, Nobu.

From age 5 and above, the cost of a child is the same as the cost of an adult.  Below the age of 5, children are free of charge.

Yes, fit, agile and sociable dogs can join our hikes.

We have Accident Insurance and Civil Responsibility Insurance with Berkley España, which cover our clients, employees and contract personnel carrying out activity on behalf of Ibiza Hike Station.

We are registered in the Register of Companies, Activities and Tourist Establishments of the Island of Ibiza, held by the Consell d´Eivissa, in line with the requirement for all Active Tourism Companies in Ibiza.

We also have permission from the Director General of Natural Spaces and Biodiversity of the Govern Illes Baleares (GOIB) to hike in the protected areas in Ibiza (“the Natura 2000 Network”), in which permission is required to hike.   These areas are protected, for example, due to the wild birds, fauna and flora there.

Our guides have a mixture of TD1, TD2, Red Cross and in-house first aid training. All of our guides carry comprehensive first aid kits on the hikes.
