Experience: Swim, Sunset

Arch Hike Station reveals Ibiza at its most wild and untouched. This guided hike in Ibiza begins high above the sea, then descends from around 300 metres towards one of the island’s most remote coves. As we lose height, the coastline opens wider and wider, until the path leads us to the most spectacular natural stone arch in Ibiza, rising above the water in a setting that feels powerful, quiet and deeply authentic. If the weather allows, we continue down for a swim in one of the island’s wildest coves, where clear water and dramatic cliffs create an unforgettable moment.

The return offers a different perspective. We climb back up through the hillside, and when the group is comfortable and in good shape, we continue along old hidden paths before following the coast from above to another panoramic viewpoint. This coastal hike in Ibiza combines moderate cardio, agility and discovery, while still remaining suitable for many hikers. At one of the viewpoints, we often pause for meditation, with the horizon open in front of us and the cliffs below. Beautiful in the morning for its crystal clear colours, and equally moving as a sunset hike in Ibiza, this route is also striking in changing weather.

Ibiza Hikes for Beginners (Icon)

Beginner

May include some short sections which are steep or uneven. These more gentle trails are suitable for beginners or those looking for a relaxed outdoor experience. They usually follow well-marked countryside caminos or coastal paths with minimal elevation gain. These hikes can be tailored to suit families, children and those with varying levels of fitness.
Ibiza Hikes for Intermediates (Icon)

Intermediate

No technical skill is required but these hikes may include sharp ascents and descents and cover rough terrain that offers more of a challenge. These hikes are suitable for hikers with a medium level of cardiovascular fitness and good sense of agility and balance. There may be avoidable areas of exposed heights unsuitable for those with vertigo.
Ibiza Hikes - "Difficult" Level (Bronze)

Advanced

These difficult trails will cover all types of terrain including loose shale underfoot and sections of coast which are particularly steep, rocky and slippery. There may be sections which are largely exposed, involve steep steps or ropes and have significant elevation gain. These hikes require a higher-than-average level of fitness and endurance and a resilient, positive mindset.
